| Do you come from a land down under, where women glow and men plunder? Can you hear, can you hear the thunder? You better run, you better take cover - because that thunder is Tim coming to get you in his S&H Torino! This is one of several I know of in the land of 'Roos, Wombats, Tasmanian Devils, and Koalas, but it's the first I've featured here on the web site. Tim, Lisa, Jacob, Tamara, and Jack S. hail from Brisbane, the state capital of Queensland, Australia. | ||||||

| This car's one previous owner lived in Beverly Hills, California. It has 7,300 original miles on it, and has a 400 cid V8 engine and C-6 transmission with column shift. It has electric windows, power steering, air conditioning, original AM/FM stereo, and was originally 2B bright red like the TV cars and factory replicas. The car is riding on genuine US Indy rims and new Mastercarft G/T tires - 15x10 in the back and 15x8.5 in the front. All the new body and paint work was done by Shane and Cindy Delaforce at Californian Image in Brisbane. | ||||||

| So, if you noticed the small picture of Tim's car on
my other pages is upside-down and you didn't know why, have you figured it out now that you know where this car
is located? Well, if you're from the southern hemisphere I guess it might not make sense, but to the majority of
you who are from the USA and United Kingdom, or anywhere in the northern hemisphere, you should get the joke by
now. Think about it! Okay, I realize this isn't the first car I've featured from south of the equator, there are cars on this site from Chile and New Zealand, but I guess since I was a kid I've thought of things being upside-down in Australia and China, so I made the little picture of Tim's Torino appear upside down as an inside joke! :-) Thanks for sharing your car, Tim and family! I hope I can come down there and see it in person someday! |
