This Website is Dedicated to the
Memory of S&H Torino Owner
Arthur Jackson
|
|
|
The community of "Starsky & Hutch" Torino
Owners is mourning the loss of a dear, dear friend. Arthur Jackson died on Tuesday, July 13. He would have been
just 51 years old in another month.
We first met Arthur at the Wisconsin Dells S&H Torino Reunion in 2005, and he attended reunions regularly every
year since then. Arthur talked on the phone and met often with many S&H Torino owners, becoming like family
to all of them. Everyone who met Arthur instantly became his friend. One owner said of Arthur this week, "I
have personally never met a man as genuine as Arthur was. He would do anything for a friend." Another said,
"When you talked to him, Arthur would truly listen, remember what you said, and follow through later. He went
out of his way to do special things like give us T-shirts with our S&H Torino reunion photos on them. He regularly
called other S&H Torino owners to wish them well on holidays. He was a very special guy and a friend to us
all."
Arthur was almost as big a fan of "Starsky & Hutch" and his S&H Torino as he was of the Chicago
Cubs.
S&H Torinos from all over the Midwest will drive in Arthur's funeral procession in Dolton, Illinois on Saturday,
July 17, to honor Arthur's memory and to support his wife and family.
While you are visiting this site, check
out Arthur's S&H Torino. He would have
loved to have met you and talked to you about it in person, and you would have been blessed if he had. |

Caveat
Emptor - "Let the Buyer Beware"
I am listing these cars for sale in order to promote
their preservation, and to help the owners and buyers as I hope they would help me if I was selling or looking
to buy a "Starsky & Hutch" Torino. I do not benefit directly from the sale of any of these cars,
and I can not be responsible for the condition of the cars or the actions of the sellers.
Any information listed about any car is provided
by the owner and NOT necessarily verified by me. I don't have any information about the cars other than what you
see here or on the web site where the car is being sold.
There is no such thing as a list price or blue book
value for any of these cars - any collector car is "worth" exactly what the buyer is willing to pay for
it and the seller is willing to sell it for. I highly recommend that any potential buyer ask the seller MANY questions
about the condition of the car, and that buyers see
the car in person and test drive it before buying. Be sure the car has a clear title, with no liens against it.
I highly recommend that buyers not go into debt
to purchase a car which is - hopefully - not going to be their primary means of daily transportation, and that
married people purchase such a car only with the complete support of their spouse.
The presence of strobe lights, sirens, and red revolving
lights in any car that is not an official Police car is illegal in many states. Check your own State and local
regulations!
Please don't buy ANY items on eBay that appear to
have been made using copyrighted materials (such as photos) without permission of the owner. Buying these items
is stealing from the owners of the copyrighted materials and contributing to the crime of the person selling the
item. There are enough legitimate, legal, licensed items available for everyone.
Used parts are used parts. If you are concerned about the condition of the used parts
you are purchasing from any seller, which is not a bad idea, ask to see photos of the parts before you buy them.
Be sure you know what you are getting!
